Marketplace & Publisher Trust

The BRICQS Marketplace lets publishers share AI products with the broader BRICQS community. Every publisher has a trust tier — Community, Verified, Trusted, or Official — that reflects their identity verification status, audit history, and platform reputation.

Trust tiers

Trust is cryptographic and earned, not self-reported. The trust tier controls what badge appears on your listings and how discoverable they are, but it is separate from content quality — even a Community listing can be excellent.

Publisher reputation

Each publisher has a reputation profile with the following fields. The reputation score is a weighted combination of these signals — security incidents lower the score significantly.

total_installsCumulative installations of all published listings
avg_ratingWeighted average rating (0–5) across all listings with ≥5 ratings
security_incidentsNumber of verified security issues reported against this publisher's listings. Even 1 prevents Trusted upgrade.
last_audit_atTimestamp of the most recent platform security audit, if any
trust_tierCurrent tier: community | verified | trusted | official

GET/marketplace/listingsList all marketplace listings with publisher trust tier enrichment. Supports ?trust_tier= filter.
GET/marketplace/publisher/{user_id}Get a publisher's full reputation profile.

Admin note

Upgrading a publisher to Official tier requires a platform admin with is_platform_admin = true in the auth.users table. There is no self-service path to Official. Trust tier downgrades (e.g. after a security incident) are also admin-only operations.
